Board Game Rentals

The Dealt Hand is excited to offer an inexpensive rental program with our expanding game collection. Our goal is to be able to make it easy to try games outside of our events (which will still continue to be free!) while allowing us to be able to further expand our collection!

Looking for an even easier option? We also offer a great subscription and delivery program! Twice a month on Mondays we drive around the metro dropping off games - bringing you great selections from our collection automatically! We have options starting at $15 a month! How It Works!

Rentals are for 1 week - with pricing based primarily off of MSRP. Games under $20 MSRP are $5 per 2 games, games with a MSRP under $50 are $10 per game. Games over $50 MSRP are $15 per game, along with a handful of games that are harder to acquire/ are out of print. To avoid disappointment please email us to confirm pricing and availability of games prior to coming to an event - not all games travel to all events.

Free pickup/returns are available at any Dealt Hand events - delivery is available in the Des Moines metro area: rental totals over $30 are free - totals under that have a delivery fee of $5.

The Details

All payments are to be made by card - and the card is required to be kept on file with The Dealt Hand. A signed copy of our rental agreement will be emailed to you along with the receipt.

An invoice for the rental fee + the full MSRP will be issued to you upon delivery of the games - with the rental fee collected immediately. A game returned in good condition within the agreed rental period will satisfy the remaining invoice.

Late fees are $1 per game per day - failure to communicate with us w/in 7 days of the due date will authorize us to charge the full MSRP and rental fee to the card we have on file. All communication needs to be completed by email to joe@thedealthand.com, or to (515) 207-2587.

If a game is accidentally delivered by us damaged or missing parts, let us know immediately so we can make it right! If a game is damaged, or parts are lost while in your possession, let us know - if a repair or replacement is simple, we will charge the repair/replace cost - otherwise we will charge the full MSRP.
